For those struggling with ADD/ADHD, the contrast between the exuberance and ease of engaging in a enjoyable project and the overwhelming effort of accomplishing a basic task can be confusing and frustrating. Daily life for a person with these difficulties can be sidetracked, as debates about when, how, or whether to do a task replace doing the task itself. For even the brightest and most talented, these issues can lead to anxiety about failure, a growing urgency to keep things hidden, or an inability to achieve what one had hoped.

I work with college students and adults with ADD/ADHD, assessing strengths, educating about brain function, and developing strategies to create organization and success.
